Minority and Underrepresented Group Travel Stipends application deadline is March 25, 2022

To promote attendance of trainees and scientists from underrepresented groups and low-income countries, travel stipends are available. 

You can apply for underrepresented group travel stipend during abstract submission.

Travel awards are also offered for outstanding abstracts and applications from trainees.

Applications for Travel stipends are available through abstract submission portal. A cover letter, CV and a letter of recommendation (for trainees only) from principal investigator (PI) are required in order to be considered.

Letters of recommendation for trainees could be submitted through abstract submission portal or directly sent by the mentor/PI to MBHD2022@healthcare.uiowa.edu with the subject line: Travel Award_First and last name of applicant_PI name. 

Best Poster/Talk Awards

Awards will be given for best talks and best posters by junior scientists or trainees. Talks and posters will be judged by the organizing committee.

There will also be a "People's Choice " award for best poster and best talk by a trainee. All attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite talk and poster.
